With Multi-Property Centralized portfolio management, hotels can be grouped by brand, region, or management company and managed using shared settings and templates, including rates, roles, and policies. This reduces per-property configuration drift and ensures revenue categories and accounting mappings remain consistent across the portfolio, making consolidated reporting easier and more reliable.
In addition, the Mews BI Multi-Property Dashboard provides a portfolio-wide view of key performance indicators such as Total Operating Revenue (TOR), ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, guest volume, and guest spend. Performance can be viewed as roll-ups or compared at individual property level, with filters by property group or region. Reports can be exported in PDF, Excel, or CSV formats, and scheduled email reports support regular executive reporting.
Mews reduces manual reconciliation and financial errors through real-time ledger automation and embedded payment reporting.
The Ledger Suite records every charge, payment, tax, and credit in real time into the correct ledger and automatically generates a daily, immutable Trial Balance, removing the need to manually rebuild balances in spreadsheets and providing a single source of truth for daily close and reconciliation.
Accounting & Billing Intelligence brings together live ledgers, the daily Trial Balance, and detailed Ledger Activity exports, helping teams reconcile faster by aligning ledger activity with the Trial Balance and automating accounts receivable workflows.
With Mews Payments, properties reconcile deposits using Payout and Payment reports rather than line-by-line bank matching. For fully embedded payment flows, reconciliation can be completed with one click or is not required at all.
Mews supports real-time cash-flow forecasting and profitability monitoring through live ledger visibility, daily balances, and business intelligence dashboards.
Live Deposit, Guest, and City Ledgers provide continuous visibility into pre-stay deposits and prepayments, in-stay balances, and post-stay receivables with aging. These ledgers clearly distinguish between cash already received but not yet earned and earned revenue awaiting payment — the core inputs finance teams use for cash-flow planning.
The daily Trial Balance offers a real-time snapshot of all debits and credits across ledgers, including balances for revenue, taxes, and payments, helping teams monitor financial position day by day.
On the revenue and profitability side, Mews BI Dashboards surface key metrics such as Total Operating Revenue (TOR), Room Revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, guest volume, and guest spend, alongside year-over-year variance and pick-up style views. Together, these provide near real-time insight into revenue performance and its impact on future cash flow and profitability.
For KPIs such as ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, Total Operating Revenue (TOR), and guest spend, Mews BI dashboards provide the most direct and flexible view. These dashboards support analysis at both property and portfolio level, with filters for date range, property group, room category, and booking source, and allow exports for KPI and executive reporting packs.
Metrics such as GOP and EBITDA require a complete view of operating expenses, including payroll, utilities, and overhead, which typically sit in an accounting or ERP system rather than the PMS. Mews supports this process by supplying accurate, immutable revenue and tax data through its Ledgers, with clean exports or API feeds that can be used in downstream accounting or business intelligence tools.
Mews integrates with accounting software as a core design principle, offering native integrations, partner-led connections, and open exports and APIs.
Through the Mews Marketplace, there is a dedicated Accounting category with ready-made exports and integrations for accounting systems such as Sage variants and Avantage. These integrations are designed to automatically push revenue, tax, payment, and accounts receivable data into the general ledger. Broader accounting and finance integrations are also available, often delivered via partners like Omniboost, supporting multi-entity and multi-currency accounting setups.
Mews also provides purpose-built, deep integrations with modern cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, and is explicitly positioned to move hotels away from manual CSV-based processes toward API-driven accounting connections.
Where a native integration is not available, hotels can rely on one-click PDF, Excel, or CSV exports from the Trial Balance and ledgers, as well as open APIs, to feed data into any external accounting or business intelligence system.
