Trivec’s Domino is a POS solution for restaurants and bars which sends charges to a guest’s account to be settled in Mews.

Introduction

The integration between Trivec and Mews empowers hospitality businesses to seamlessly synchronize sales and payment data, unifying critical financial information within their Property Management System (PMS). By leveraging Mews as the central platform, businesses can streamline accounting, reduce manual input, and automate reporting for a cohesive view of revenue and payments. The integration allows for real-time guest charges and regular data synchronization, delivering a consolidated, accurate accounting overview for each property.

Key Functionalities

  • Room Charge: Charge revenue directly to a Guest Profile in Mews using the guest’s Name and/or Room Number
  • Check Closure: Close a guest’s check using 'Room Charge' without requiring immediate payment at the POS location
  • Guest Lookup: Easily search for guests in Mews by Name or Room Number, streamlining check-out processes
  • Full Revenue Push: Every hour, all bills closed in the Trivec environment are transferred into the outlets section of your Mews Accounting Report
  • Consolidated Accounting Reports: All financial transactions are automatically recorded in Mews' Outlets section of the Accounting Report, making reconciliation simple and providing a comprehensive view of revenue across outlets

Onboarding Process

  1. The customer requests the connection via their Trivec Point of Contact
  2. Trivec submits an integration request, including an Ngrok URL for the connection
  3. Omniboost provides the API key to Trivec
  4. The customer requests the integration in the Mews Marketplace, which creates an onboarding ticket for Omniboost
  5. You will receive an email from the Omniboost Onboarding team to start your self-onboarding journey
  6. Omniboost sets up the POS Connector account
  7. Documentation and credentials are shared with the customer, providing instructions for setting up and configuring the POS Connector
  8. After all setup steps are finalized, the integration is activated and operational
