This integration streamlines guest access management by connecting Mews properties with RemoteLock. It is designed to automate and simplify access control for guests and tasks. The integration begins by mapping a Mews property with a corresponding RemoteLock location. Devices at that location are then mapped to specific Mews spaces such as beds, dorms, apartments, or rooms. Department names and IDs are also retrieved from Mews, allowing administrators to assign a shared email address to each department. This enables access creation and access notification email to be sent when a task is assigned to a department. Once the mappings are complete, an automated import job retrieves active reservation data and generates appropriate guest access credentials without manual input. A scheduler runs every 10 minutes to ensure timely access provisioning for housekeeping and maintenance vendors based on their assigned tasks. Additionally, real-time webhooks from Mews are used to handle reservation updates, ensuring that guest access is adjusted automatically in response to any changes. By integrating with Mews, this solution provides a seamless and automated approach to managing access for various user roles throughout the guest journey.
