Our software (called NETx BMS Platform) is a building management software that is used in hotels for facility management. Our software can interface with lighting / shading, heating / ventilation and air conditioning and many other building server. Interfacing with hotel management systems like Mews is also very important. Our system needs to retrieve the current of all hotel rooms. Typical information is the booking state (room is booked of free) and the room status (room is dirty, cleaned, ...). Using this information, automation tasks can be performed. A typical use case is the climate or heating control. If a room is not booked, the climate control is set to stand-by mode. If a room is booked, the climate control is set to comfort mode. Another use case is to provide a user interface for the house keeping staff which can be used to see the room states.
