Introduction
The MEWS to Mailchimp connection is provided by Omniboost and ensures the transfer of Guest profile information between your PMS- and Mailchimp environments. The connection transfers Guest profile information through a fully automated API connection.

Onboarding Process
The steps involved in connecting MEWS to your Mailchimp environment are outlined below. The expected onboarding timeline is 2 to 3 business weeks, starting from the moment your MEWS setup is correctly configured and the connection variables requested by Omniboost are provided.
- Request the Mailchimp connection via the MEWS Marketplace.
- Omniboost’s Onboarding team will contact you within three business days with further instructions.
- Finish your MEWS setup.
- Provide Omniboost with the requested connection variables.
- Omniboost to setup the connection.
- Omniboost to send test Guest profile entries to your Mailchimp environment.
- Validation of test Guest profile entries by the hotel accounting team.
- Omniboost to activate the Mailchimp connection.
Omniboost’s Onboarding team will be able to assist you throughout the entire onboarding process. The Omniboost Support team will ensure full quality control and maintenance of the connection after activation.
Standard Connectivity - Data transfer details
The Standard MEWS to Mailchimp connection transfers the below entries:
- Every Guest profile which is part of a reservation.
- Standard Guest profile information.**
- Guest type, First name, Last name, Country, Postal code, Address, Birth date, Age, Nationality and additional information can be transferred.
- Guest profile information is only transferred to Mailchimp in case 'Send Marketing Emails' is enabled within the MEWS Guest profile.
