By leveraging the Mews API, it provides a robust solution that allows hotel staff to effortlessly search for and apply gift cards to customer accounts. This integration ensures that the value of the gift card is accurately reflected on the customer's bill. The integration offers the following key features: Gift Card Management: Users can find available gift cards within the Lifepeaks environment and select them for use as payments in Mews. Seamless Payment Application: Process: The user finds a gift card in the Lifepeaks environment and clicks on the button "Use as Payment in Mews." The user is then presented with a list of customers from Mews on a separate page. After selecting a customer, the app displays the customer's open bills. The user can select one of the bills or choose to "add amount as deposit on customer's account." The user selects the amount from the gift card (up to the gift card's remaining amount) and clicks "pay in Mews," which creates an external payment in Mews. Refund Handling: The gift card page displays a list of payments made in Mews with an option to refund. The refund process creates a corresponding refund payment in Mews.
