The integration is focused on connecting Asterisk PBX with the hotel's PMS. In the first phase, it will focus solely on querying MEWS for the guest's first and last name. We will query several endpoints on a recurring basis (once every hour) and update a local database. When the guest calls reception from a room, we will display the guest's first and last name and room number on the reception phone, allowing for a more direct interaction with the end customer. Additionally, when the housekeeping staff finishes with the room, they can enter a code on the phone and update the room to change the status to "CLEAN."
