EleaOpen is a cloud-based access control platform that enables the automation of digital keys and PIN codes for tourist apartments, hotels, and serviced accommodations. Through its integration with Mews, EleaOpen generates and manages access credentials based on real-time reservation data. Full description: EleaOpen allows hospitality businesses to streamline guest access by automating the creation and management of digital keys and keypad codes. Designed to support both mobile access and physical PIN entry, the platform integrates directly with Mews using the Connector API. The integration retrieves reservation details, customer data, and room assignments to automatically generate a secure access token (link and/or code) 48 hours before check-in. This access data is stored in Mews via the resourceAccessTokens/add endpoint and can be accessed by guest communication platforms. EleaOpen also updates or revokes access credentials in real time if the reservation changes or is canceled. Additionally, the integration supports check-in automation by triggering the reservations/start endpoint after the guest’s first use of their access key, and can adapt the key activation time based on housekeeping status. The solution is ideal for multi-property clients, as it supports the use of a single Access Token across several hotels under the same Mews account, reducing complexity and ensuring scalability.
