The Aloha POS integration for room charges, manages the receipts with a payment method directed to room charges, making Aloha able to connect to Mews and check the room occupancy and the guest's cashlisting status, allowing to collect the signature of a customer, through a mobile device, to make a room charge, with the information of the products and accounting category and at the end uploading the collected signature with the agreed conditions by the guest for the room charge.
Also, the integration allows for retrieval of the signatures uploaded as it makes a copy of the uploaded file in a given directory. The integration makes backups of the collected signature and the information of the receipt to upload on a given directory, making it able to complete any interrupted transactions at the beginning of any attempt to make a room charge.
The integration needs Aloha POS to have a payment method set for room charges and access to a SQL database.
1.- Check if a room is occupied.
2.- Check the guest cash listing status in a given room.
3.- Make a room charge to a given guest if the guest is not cash listed.
4.- Upload proof of guest authorization for the room charge.
