About The Boost Society
The Boost Society is the powerhouse behind two dynamic hospitality brands: Kley, dedicated to student housing, and Hife, designed for co-living for young professionals with a mix of short and long stays and services like sports sessions, music studio and a pool.
With 38 properties across France and Spain - and €1.2 billion recently raised to fuel further expansion - the Boost Society is reshaping the future of modern living.
They chose Mews for its open API, flexible creation and management of bookable services, and strong commitment to the long-stay market, aligning perfectly with their growth ambitions.

Mews is moving fast with long-stay functionality, and it's clear they're serious about innovating this space. We're betting on them to lead this market and we're excited for mutual growth.
Managing multi-duration bookings and services with ease
Challenge
At Hife residences, flexibility is key. Managing a mix of short-, mid-, and long-stay bookings across multiple services made it difficult to maintain visibility and control without the right tools.
Solution
Through Mews, the team can configure the ideal parameters for each type of booking and let automation take care of the rest. With bookable services, they can efficiently manage inventory by dividing spaces according to their use case. In a property with 200 beds, for example, they might allocate 100 for short stays, 50 for mid-term and 50 for long-term guests. They're also using bookable services creatively - managing karaoke rooms via hourly bookings and offering parking spaces with different pricing for long- and short-stay guests.
Result
- 8-10 bookable services, all easily managed within Mews
Connecting the dots across the guest journey with Mews Open API
Challenge
The team wanted full visibility into the guest journey, from reservation to consumed items, to offer the right service at the right moment and at the best possible price.
Solution
Using Mews Open API, they built a custom booking engine that combines multiple bookable services based on the length of stay. It captures enriched information needed to qualify bookings, such as the guest's socio-professional category or guarantor details for longer stays. The team also implemented real-time sync with Salesforce, which manages the entire customer lifecycle - from communication to contracts via DocuSign and recurring payments through Stripe. It tracks customer lifetime value across both Hife and Kley brands and has already shown that many guests naturally transition from one brand to the other.
Result
- Stronger brand synergy, helping tailor long-term engagement strategies
- Full visibility across the guest lifecycle, leading to smarter decisions around communication, pricing and retention

"We strive to create a journey that is as digital and automated as possible, to simplify the experience for our customers and users, so they can focus on what truly matters."
A better way to pay... and get paid
Challenge
Handling high volumes of bookings meant staff were spending too much time on manual payment processing.
Solution
For short stays, the Boost Society group uses Mews Payments and appreciates the time savings that automation provides. The added flexibility, variety of payment methods and ability to send payment links have helped the team manage transactions more smoothly, contributing to a quicker payment experience for guests. With built-in security and compliance features, the brand also benefits from enhanced protection.
Result
- More options and flexibility in payments

Looking ahead
All existing Hife properties currently operate with Mews. The next openings are planned for 2025 in Vélizy and Bordeaux, and the Boost Society group aims to accommodate 20,000 people across its entire portfolio by 2030.

“Agilotel is a consulting firm whose support has been essential in designing a reliable, scalable and flexible tech architecture. Their expertise and commitment were a key factor in structuring our organization and ensuring the success of our development.”
